Exhibition: The Berlin Wall: symbol of Cold War

On 9 November 2019, it will be exactly 30 years since the Berlin Wall unexpectedly fell in a peaceful manner. In a highly informative exhibition, using unique images from both the former West and East Germany, the Municipality of Heuvelland, the War Heritage Institute and the Association 'Berlin No More Walls' will tell the history of this most famous of walls: its context, its construction, its fall and what it was like to live on either side of it.

The exhibition 'The Berlin Wall: symbol of Cold War' can be visited until end of December 2021.

Opening hours

Low season: from 16th November until 14th February

Open on Sunday from 10:00 AM until 17:00 PM (individual and group visits).
A guided visit is obligated for group visits.
Visitor times groups: 10:00 AM, 11:45 AM, 13:30 PM and 15:15 PM

Attention, during the COVID-19 pandemic, opening from 10:00 - 16:00.
Visitor's times: 10:00, 11:30, 13:15 and 14:30.
